Subject: Not so good
The quality of this recording is decent. It's a little too bassy and distant sounding, but hey it's a bootleg. I don't expect perfection. I downloaded this show because I've been dying to hear "Broken Windows Locks of Love Pt. III" played live. Well....I hate to say this about a band I love, but they must not have been having a very good night. This song in particular kind of sounded like shit. The others were decent...but it still seems like they weren't quite "into it" that night or something. I give it a 3 because I want to give this band the benefit of the doubt. They work hard.

Subject: Great performance, but...
This is an incredible setlist and incredible performance by a band at the height of their powers. However, the recording is somewhat muddy and the levels are low which is a horrible thing with a band that has such subtleties, many of which are lost in the mud. It requires considerable tweaking in order to be fully enjoyable. I would recommend the 12/17/98 SBD recording over this one for purely sound quality reasons.

Subject: Very Good Show, But...
This is a very good show, great sound quality, and the band at the height of their powers. But the very best I've heard is the 9/9/99 (love that date) show in Boston. Similar set list and sound quality, but the band's performance is white-hot. I only have the show in a lossy version; if anyone can post a non-lossy version of that show, that would be just starless and bible black...

Subject: greatest show / setlist ever!!
well.. i've been listening to this show over and over and over again, and it still keeps getting me off, know what i mean. the setlist is just amazing, like no other gybe!-show available online, thats for sure, and it feels like i've finally found my ultimate gybe! setlist..!

excellent way to start if this is your first gybe! show, although you might find the other slightly different, at least as far as the setlist is concerned.
the sound is all good, crisp and nice, sometimes it makes me wonder wether it is live or not. great job indeed to whoever taped it!

again, setlist is amazing, the first song is just one of my favourite gybe-moments of all time, such a shame it seems the didn't like to play very much back then. in their later shows it has disappeard completely..

oh. well.
perfect show, perfect band. easy peachy.
